In response to the current water proofing methodologies for Drain Protection systems, Di Fincci was established in 2015. Di Fincci was established by Houssam (Sam) Dirani as He envisioned an innovative way to improve the current Drain Protection System installation procedures, as well as their functionality.
Sam migrated to Australia in 1994, motivated to succeed and to start a better life for his family. Upon arrival, Sam saw the immense importance of being able to speak English which inspired him to enrol in an English course immediately. Within 6 months, Sam was able to complete the course which laid the foundation of his career.
In 1996, Sam enrolled in technical college to allow him to join the plumbing industry. Impelled to succeed, after just 3 years Sam became a licensed plumber and established his own business in the year 2000. With over 20 years of experience, Sam was able to see a ‘need’ in the plumbing market. The ‘need’ was to develop an efficient Drain Protection System for floor wastes that boasts quality whilst also increasing efficiency to shorten the installation process. Hence, Sam’s innovation gave birth to the Di Fincci Drain Protection System in 2016. Here, the concept of the flange was brought forward, patented and achieved Watermark certification. Since then, another 6 products were developed as Sam’s concept with the Drain Protection System for floor wastes was practical for other common plumbing practises.
